BioMedia is a range of completely recyclable substrates that, in dark, warm, moist conditions, will biodegrade to dust in less than five years.BioMedia substrates are made from an extruded plastic incorporating an enzymatic micro-organism which cuts through the polymer chain to produce a radically accelerated breakdown of the product, whether it is in landfill or composted.Traditional printing materials tend to contain PVC, which contians chlorides, or a combination of materials bonded together which are impossible to separate for recycling and cause a great deal of harm to the environment.
